Upon making a booking with The Makeup Society you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Makeup Bookings

Bookings can only be made a maximum of 3 months in advance for makeup All bookings are held at The Makeup Society, unless otherwise agreed.
Free on street parking available

The Makeup society accepts cash and bank transfer payments.


Wedding Bookings

Bookings can be made up to 15 months in advance. If a trial is required, The Makeup Society advises this to be done ASAP as no dates are held until a deposit has been paid.

A non-refundable deposit of $80 per person- secures your booking.

The Makeup Society does not hold dates without a deposit nor can we inform clients whether another client is inquiring about the same wedding date. The Makeup Society gets so many inquiries and to keep everyone informed on the status is of their particular date is too challenging to manage effectively.

For a wedding or event, which requires travel, there is a minimum of 3ppl and maximum of 8ppl required. Otherwise clients may book at The Makeup Society in Adelaide CBD (up to 3 months in advance for bookings less than 4).

If on the day, someone not included in the clients The Makeup Society agreed to work with, We will not perform half makeups (eyes or base), just eyeliner, just lipstick etc. on anyone other than paying clients. If someone last minute wishes to pay for The Makeup Society’s services at an agreed price, this will solely depend on the time we have available for such services.

The Makeup Society must be notified at least 90 days in advance if there is a decrease in makeup numbers, otherwise initial quote will be adhered to. If there is an increase in makeups numbers prior to the date or on the day, we will endeavour to accommodate depending on availability and additional costs will be incurred.

The remaining balance (including travel costs) must be paid into the following account at least 2 weeks prior to the wedding date. The Makeup Society does not take individual payments for weddings or group bookings.

Trials are recommended as early as possible as dates are not held until a deposit has been paid. Trials DO NOT secure dates.

If you’re intending to get a spray tan for the event, The Makeup Society strongly suggests also getting one for the trial as makeup can differ depending on skin colour.

Please, no waxing for up to one week prior to trial or event, makeup will not stick to that area otherwise.

The Makeup Society advises against lash lifting prior to event if clients wish to have false lashes.

It is recommended that the bride and bridesmaids purchase the lip products so touch ups can be made on the day. The Makeup Society will not provide lip products for the event. Suggestions can be made at the trial.


The Makeup Society will travel for a minimum of 4 makeups at any given location, unless otherwise agreed.

There is a cost of $30- per 15 minutes of travel, rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes each way. This is for travel expenses and compensation for other business declined due to travel time.

The Makeup Society will only work from one location for any one booking. If more than one location is required, additional travel costs will be incurred and must be discussed at time of quote.

For parties less than 4, clients are welcome to book their makeup at The Makeup Society in the CBD.

Payment options

The Makeup Society takes cash and bank transfers at her home salon for single bookings and accepts cash or bank transfer for deposits and remaining balances for events.


In the event where we are required to park for a job, the cost incurred will be charged to the client for the duration of services rendered. Please advise if parking is required at time of booking.


Personal Information

Should clients have any allergies, sensitivities or aversions to certain products they must inform The Makeup Society prior to appointment as well as at the time of their booking.

The Makeup Society will not be liable for incidental, or consequential damages however characterised, for example eczema, breakouts, sensitive skin and eyes.

The Makeup Society understands that some clients may wish to use some of their own makeup. In this instance, The Makeup Society will not be held responsible for any loss in quality or longevity if products are inferior to those in her kit.

Damages and Property

Clients are financially responsible for any damages to The Makeup Society property or equipment whether accidental or otherwise.

The Makeup Society’s makeup kit and products, can only be used by the Makeup Society employee, we will not allow clients to use her products or tools, including brushes, on themselves or others. We follow strict hygiene procedures and therefore must be the sole user of her kit and products.


The Makeup Society loves to post her beautiful clients on our Instagram from time to time. The Makeup Society will ask for your permission, of course! Please express any disinterest in being a part of her promotion/marketing on social media accounts but she would love to show off her gorgeous clients for the world to see!
